What's the best binding for notebooks?
While we can perfect bind notebooks, we recommend spiral or wiro binding, as both let the pages lie flat—making writing easier and more comfortable. For smaller page count notebooks saddle stitching can also work. For bigger print runs, section-sewn binding is also a strong choice, providing durability and a polished, professional finish.
What's the best internal stock for notebooks?
We recommend uncoated stock for notebook interiors—it’s smooth, easy to write on, and has a classic, natural feel. Our 100 gsm uncoated bond is a favourite, offering the ideal combination of durability and comfortable everyday use.
What's the best cover stock for notebooks?
We produce notebooks in both softcover and hardcover formats. Softcovers are light, affordable, and perfect for everyday use, making them easy to carry and write in. Hardcovers offer a sturdy, premium feel that holds up to frequent use. Softcovers generally use 256–300 gsm stock, while hardcovers are made with wrapped board for lasting durability and a polished finish.
How long does it take?
