What is Scodix?
Scodix is a digital enhancement process that adds tactile, glossy, raised effects to your book covers. Perfect for highlighting text, logos, or decorative elements, it creates a premium, eye-catching finish that makes your cover stand out.
What stocks does scodix work with?
Scodix can only be applied to coated cover stocks of 350 gsm or higher. Both sides of the sheet must also be finished with a velvet laminate.
How do I set up scodix ink?
Scodix needs to be set up in its own print-ready PDF. Artwork should be set up at 100% black and positioned exactly where you want the scodix to appear on the page. If you’re unsure, contact us — we’re happy to guide you through the setup.
How long does it take?
