can I spot gloss soft and hardcover books?
Yes, we can spot gloss on either soft or hardcover books. The books must have a matt or velet lamainte so please take that into consideration of your cover design.
Can I spot gloss short runs?
Yes, we can apply spot gloss from as few as 10 copies, so adding a standout finish to your custom book order has never been easier. For larger runs over 1,000 copies, it may be more economical to use spot UV process instead — contact us to discuss the best option for your project.”
How do I set up Spot Gloss?
Spot Gloss sections needs to be set up in their own print-ready PDF. Artwork should be set up at 100% black and positioned exactly where you want the spot gloss to appear on the page. If you’re unsure, contact us — we’re happy to guide you through the setup.
How long does it take?
