What are the benefits of saddle stitching?
Saddle stitch booklet printing is a cost-effective and efficient way to produce small booklets with a limited number of pages. This binding method uses staples to hold the pages together, making it ideal for booklets with page counts between 8 and 64 (can be up to 200 pages). The end result is a booklet that is easy to handle, lays flat, and has a professional look. Saddle stitch binding is also fast to produce, making it a popular choice for projects with a tight deadline.
How many pages can be saddle stitched?
We can saddle stitch up to 50 sheets of 115gsm stock, giving you a booklet with maximum of 200 pages. We also off a square edge on our saddle stitched books, giving you the polished look of a perfect bound book with the flexibility of saddle stitching.
How do you arrange the pages of a saddle-stitched booklet?
When arranging pages for saddle stitch booklet printing, it’s important to keep in mind that the total number of pages must be a multiple of 4. Pages should be placed in the correct order and orientation to ensure they appear in the correct position after folding and binding. It’s also recommended to keep important information 15mm away from the edge of the page so it is easily readable and to prevent it from being trimmed off during the finishing process.
